Product Overview:
Principle: TIME2132 ultrasonic thickness gauge measures thickness based on the principle of ultrasonic pulse reflection. When the ultrasonic pulse emitted by the probe reaches the material interface through the measured object, the pulse is reflected back to the probe, and the thickness of the measured material is determined by accurately measuring the time of ultrasonic propagation in the material. This principle can be used to measure various materials that can propagate ultrasonic waves at a constant speed inside, such as metals, plastics, ceramics, and glass. It can accurately measure various plates and processed parts, and on the other hand, it can monitor the thinning degree of various pipelines and pressure vessels in production equipment after corrosion during use. Widely used in various fields such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, shipbuilding, aviation, aerospace, etc. The TT320 ultrasonic thickness gauge is equipped with a high-temperature probe, which can measure high-temperature materials. The surface temperature of the measured workpiece can reach up to 300 degrees. Due to the adjustable sound speed of this instrument, it can measure the thickness of any ultrasonic conductive material other than steel at high temperatures.
